- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup organic coconut oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

3. Comforting Vanilla Scrub
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup organic coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients until thoroughly combined. The texture should be like slightly damp sand – if yours is too dry, add a bit more oil. If it’s too wet, add a bit more sugar.

Exfoliate and moisturize with the main components of this scrub, sugar and coconut oil. Pure vanilla extract offers antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. If you choose almond extract, you’ll benefit from the vitamin E that it contains.
4. Rose Clay Sugar Scrub
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons rose clay
- 1/2 cup sweet almond oil
- 3 drops lavender or rose essential oils
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except the sugar together until thoroughly combined. When all of the other ingredients are well mixed, add the sugar a little bit at a time, mixing fully each time before adding more sugar.
Benefits:
Clay has been used to cleans skin since man discovered mud. Rose clay is soft, earthy, and mild on the skin. It absorbs impurities and gently exfoliates the skin making it great for a deep scrub.
