Why switch to plastic free mouthwash?
Personal care, and especially oral hygiene products, are often made of plastic. Think about your bathroom – how much of your shampoo, conditioner, styling products, face wash (we could go on forever) is encased in some sort of plastic?

Mouthwash is quite easy to make at home as well. Just mix ½ cup of water with two drops of essential oil – peppermint is great. To make a whitening mouthwash, just add 2 tsp of baking soda. Try getting the baking soda at a bulk store to avoid unnecessary plastic waste! Use 2-4 teaspoons of the formula at a time, just like you would normal mouthwash. Store in a glass jar and shake before each use.
